Research focus: Mechanical simulation and experiment work on polymer material property/behavior with an emphasis on scratch behavior.
Personal info: Han is from Chongqing, China. He received his B.S. (1992) and M.S. (1997) in Engineering Mechanics from Chongqing University. With many years of work experience in China, France and US, he decided to pursue his advanced degree in Texas A&M University and be a proud Aggie. Expected to complete his PhD in Mechanical Engineering by the end of 2008, Han plans to continue his career in the polymer industry.
Hobbies: Han enjoys classic and country music, reading and hiking. He dreams to be a “professional traveler” scouring the globe in search of adventure and enlightenment.
